I learn a lot when I am given complete freedom.
No rules.
No boundaries.
No preset goals.
I teach myself quite well.
With my midwifery, I feel stifled in the program I’m in. And it’s as free as you can get with studying. lol I am attracted to programs like that, but when I start them I feel stifled.
Like I joined that Constitution class online. It’s free, but as I started it was just like..”I would learn so much more if I just read the Constitution, some Ludwig von Mises, etc. than if I participated in this class.” So I’m not even sure if I’ll join in. Not saying that finishing the class would be beneficial to an extent, but when given freedom, I can learn and do so much more.
I’m going through my midwifery courses; I just need to finish the Anatomy and Physiology module, then I can send in some of my work. Meanwhile, I have Ina May Gaskins book “Spiritual Midwifery” to read, a textbook “New Midwifery” I got from the library to read, and a bunch of other books I want to read through. And I feel like M.I.A. is getting in the way kind of. lol
It shouldn’t, but I feel like it is.
I invested money in it, so I’m not going to drop it. Dear God, no. I just need to find my groove to allow me to do the work but also practice my freedom.
